New Year, Great Diaglogues, Come Join Us!

Hey all,

We’re off to a great year already. We’ve discussed Identity, Stereotypes and the Roots of TREA, which stem from the Cultural Awareness Council started in the late 80’s in Jackson Heights.

On the table for later in the cycle are meetings about how to Break the Cycle of Hate, Human and Women’s Rights, Relationships and Dating Violence, Poetry, Community Organizing and whatever topics you’d like to have dialogue about with your peers. We are always open to new ideas. We’re planning a trip to a rooftop farm in Queens when the sun is warm enough to sprout seeds and would love to take you all to a museum, to The Door, or to any other culturally festive place.
